Rakke off-road bike Marathon

It all started 9.00 a.m when my TeamMate Viljar came and picked me and my bike up from home. Then we drove to meeting place at Salvest when others from our two teams were also. We waited for a while and the drove off because one of us was really late (its common here).

Everything was usual. Taking the start numbers, putting the bike ready all most went to warm up ride when IT happened. 11.30am a huge storm came. I mean really huge we were sitting in our cars the rain and thunder and extreme wind, the trees were on the road again.

Then it calmed down a little and two of the team mates decided to go away because they thought the storm affected the ride this much that it was called off. but 4 other ones including me decided to stay and wait until it is officially called off.
Then we waited a little while and decided to go and eat at Väike-Maarja 15km from the racing place. We ate hot food and then 13.00 we discovered that the race is going to be and the start is 13.30... And off the table we went speed around 120km/h . to the racing place.

So the start was 13.30 to the 62km ride. 1.5h later than it supposed to be.
the road was awesomely beautiful. the fallen trees, mud, golden weath, sunshine, green. All created by God. I loved enjoying the weather and beauty of nature so my ride wasn't as fast because I'm afraid in the start to fall because of all the people who are together. There was one place in about 25th kilometer when i thought arghh I want to take a break and then came the hardest part of the race EMUMÄGI it was a wall in front of me when I had to rise my bike up from very sharp rise.
but still place 815 out of 820 is not bad if you consider the fact that there were only 38 women all together in the 62km race. I guess I'm crazy.
